In the beginning... there was Wales.

Well,

This is my first post. I'm studying for an MScEcon in Terrorism at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I've been here four weeks now. And its wicked. Lots of discussions. Everyone is very educated. Some folks are weird. But that's the way it is meant to be.

Highlights so far have included a 4am walk home from the Bay with two different shoes on; the Twin Peaks Hill Race (which hurt like hell); drunken Celtic banter between myself & an Irishman, with a Canadian in stitches laughing at us; 3 consecutive nights of political debate and 3 bottles of good whisky.

Anyone know anything about upcoming elections in Scotland or the situation in Israel/Palestine, I'd be delighted to hear from you - whatever your political persuasion.
